college students

It appears that all the college students are heading back to school, or have left already. But not me. Damn concordia delaying their start day by a week.

Last year the roles were reversed. I went off and lots of others were still home. I'm finishing up month 4 of being home and I am literally driving myself insane. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

that's all I have to say really. I only woke up an hour ago and my brain isnt quite where it should be yet.

it's a blog about nothing.

Just like Seinfeld. Except Seinfeld is not a blog. Which is good, cuz that's the kind of comedy you really have to see and not read.

Seinfeld is truely amazing in itself. I've never seen any other show that has tried to create the same sort of humor that Seinfeld does. (Except for Curb Your Enthusiasm, which was made by Larry David, who co-created Seinfeld.)

My brother tells me that this show called "Louie" is similar to this kind of show, and is funnier in his opinion. I've never seen the show myself, but I have seen (or have fallen asleep late at night to) stand-up on Comedy Central of the man who stars in Louie, Louis C.K. And if his comedy is how it would be in his show, it must be a damn good show.

Those are my nothingfilled thoughts of the day.

old picture sunday-monday

my whole block had a power outage, thus delaying this post.

Cough cough

That is all I have been doing for about 2 weeks now. Coughing.

I have been asked on multiple occassions what is wrong with me. And I have no fucking idea. Neither does my mom, who has the same thing as me. We went to the doctor, or should I say a bitch lady who has no idea what she is doing. Our lungs are clear.

.....ok? so now what? No answer.

Nothing seemed to be kicking it. It's the worst at night, when I struggle to sleep at night because I'm coughing up my non-existing third lung. And I can't take Nyquil cuz I actually need to get up in the morning. Triaminic worked one night, but not the other times afterwords. We went and got cough drops, which only work for what, 2 and a half to 3 minutes? And it does nothing for my sinuses.

And then I saw it. Robitussin! Right in the cabinet! Made for cough and congestion! I was like YES! I WILL SLEEP TONIGHT! I took it, and when I woke up there was dry crusting remains of drool. I would have slept all day if I didn't have to be at VBS at an ungodly hour. I also couldn't feel my head. But half of my cough has been wiped out. It doesn't really hurt my chest anymore (just my head now) and it's not as severe.

Don't knock Robitussin. It tastes like shit, but it works wonders.
